A game developed in a team in 48 hours as part of Global Game Jam 2022.
"Play as the Technology side (right) as you press arrow keys in quick succession to complete all the rounds and pull the Nature side (left) closer and into your territory. This is no easy feat however as your opponent is incredibly strong and is consistently pulling you towards their side whilst you try to resist!"
Contributions
• Created main tug-of-war turn based system
• Implemented input system that waits for a specific input from the player in order to continue
• Game picks from a specific set of inputs and generates an amount of them based upon certain parameters
• Created a “Round” system that generates an amount of rounds the player must input before pulling the enemy in
• Made background system -- Background elements slowly come into frame as one player gets closer to another’s territory
